Alkek Library Annual Reports
This collection exists to connect all of the annual reports prepared by Albert B. Alkek library at Texas State University. Reports generally contain major planning goals, departmental accomplishments, department goals, data compilations and analysis, material and collection numbers, as well as expenditures and employees.
Alumni Association records
The Alumni Association records are comprised of correspondence, photographs and ephemera dating from the early 1900s to the 1940s. The records consist primarily of handwritten and typed correspondence from former Southwest Texas students during the 1940s, including those serving in the U.S. military during World War II. It also includes one scrapbook from 1972.
American Theatre Association Records
This collection contains correspondence, meeting minutes, publications, newsletters, reports, and operating documents relating to the American Theatre Association (ATA) and its members, specifically James Barton, a former professor at Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) and regional representative to the ATA. The Association acted as a theatre advocacy group, promoting theatre and theatre education. It was dissolved in 1986.
Anton J. Bek papers
This collection contains materials related to Anton J. Bek, and the School of Music at Texas State University. It includes music scores, photos, clippings and one artifact. Many of the musical scores were created by Bek himself using a record player. He copied the music by ear onto blank sheet music, a process that could take from three to seven days, as there was no music program at that time.
Aquarena Springs Records
Aquarena Springs was an amusement park in San Marcos, Texas, located on Spring Lake. In 1994, Texas State University purchased the land. The materials in this collection relate to the promotion and marketing of Aquarena Springs and mostly cover the 1980s and 1990s when the University was transitioning the amusement park into what it is today, The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment.

The Board of Regents is responsible for the general control and management of the universities in the system. Materials from their quarterly meetings consist of agenda, general motions, committee reports from curriculum, planning and construction, finance, rules and regulations, minority enhancement, other business.

The Board of Regents is responsible for the general control and management of the universities in the system. The policies in the Regents' rules apply to each school in the system, including Texas State University.

Collection contains assorted memorabilia donated by Southwest Texas State College alumnus Bob Couch.
Bobcat Marching Band uniform collection
This collection consists of historical band uniforms, consisting primarily of shirts, from the later half of the 20th century. The origins of the Texas State Bobcat Marching Band reaches back to the formation of The Southwest Normal School Band in 1919. Band members received their first uniforms in 1928.
Bobcat Pause
Documents consist of press releases and programs. While the ceremony began in the late 1980s, the series currently holds information beginning with the 2006 event. Years not available: 2017, 2018.
Budget and financial reports
This collection ties together the many different types of budget and financial reports Texas State University produces. Materials include recommended budgets, operating budgets, salary reports, financial reports mandated by the State of Texas.
C. Ervin Doyle papers
C. Ervin Doyle is a distinguished alumnus of Texas State Normal School (now Texas State University) and is connected to Lyndon B. Johnson, and helped establish the University’s alumni foundation. This collection consists of materials that document Doyle’s life.
Captain George P. Taylor American Flag
This accession consists of one American flag used to honor alumnus Captain George P. Taylor, who died in 1984. Captain Taylor USNR, is buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. The flag was presented in 1991 to the University's Alumni Relations Office by his widow, Professor Emerita and Distinguished Alumna Mary-Agnes Taylor.
